Hi, I'm Samten Dorjee Tamang, and I started this farmstay with a simple goal—to give people a chance to experience what it's truly like to live in a rural area, surrounded by nature, peace, and authenticity.
We began this journey just a year ago, turning our family space into a cozy, welcoming retreat for travelers looking to escape the noise of city life. Located about 6 km from Gangtok, away from the hustle and bustle, our farmstay is surrounded by lush green trees and clean mountain air. It's a place where time slows down, and simple joys—like walking barefoot on the earth or sipping tea while watching the sunrise—take center stage.
Our farmstay feels like a page out of a storybook—tucked in a quiet green valley, where tall trees sway gently in the breeze, the air smells of earth and leaves, and life unfolds in its purest form. One of our favorite spots is the swimming pool, calm and still, nestled in the landscape like a quiet forest lake—a peaceful place to cool off, reflect, or simply enjoy the moment.
What makes our place special is that it's not just somewhere to stay, but a space to connect—with nature, with people, and with yourself. Guests are served fresh, home-cooked meals made using produce grown right here on our farm. And if they wish, they can even join in—picking vegetables, helping with small farm tasks, or learning to cook traditional dishes alongside us. Whether you're looking for quiet reflection or a chance to experience local life, we want you to feel completely at home here. Our hope is that every guest leaves not just rested, but enriched—with new memories, new tastes, and a deeper appreciation for rural living.
